maiden voyage

Welcome to my first presence on the internet. At least the first presence that was not part of a social networking site.

It seems like blogs are a good way of keeping family and friends apprised of travels, and travel will be my primary occupation or the next five months.

We'll see how quickly (and kindly) I take to this crazy new medium ... I may hate it, you may hate it, but there is the potential of updates from Germany, Spain, Kenya, and United States (specifically, California, Nevada, Colorado, and New York).
